First Friday Mass and Adoration
St. Patrick’s will offer a special celebration of the Eucharist with Exposition and Benediction on Friday June 1st. Mass will begin at 6:00 pm, followed by Adoration until 7:00 pm. Please join us for this Holy Hour.
Sharelife Donation Update!
We thank all of you who have been making your regular Sharelife Donation. We are a little more than 2/3’s to our Parish Goal of 60,000.00. We remind you that the 3rdcollection is Sunday June 3, 2012. Help us to reach our goal to support the programs and ministries that are sponsored by Sharelife. Remember all new and increased donations from last year will be doubled by an anonymous donor in the Archdiocese. Thank you again for your generosity!

5th Annual Mix & Mingle
for Young Adults!
Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 6:00 PM at St. Patrick’s Parish Garden (please enter off of St. Patrick’s Street between St. Patrick’s Church and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church) Faith Connections, St. Patrick’s Parish “Ignite” Young Adult Ministry and the Religious Communities of Toronto invites all Young Adults (18-39), married, single, student, working etc) to a BBQ, an evening of laughter, fun and fellowship, in a casual and relaxed atmosphere.
Come and hang out with other young adults, priests, brothers and sisters! It’s a great chance to share life experiences, ask questions and meet new people! Last year’s event was a great success – don’t miss it this year!

Mother of Perpetual Help Novena June 25-27
Join us for our annual Novena for Our Mother of Perpetual Help at St. Patrick’s Church in Toronto. Each evening, we will gather for Mass at 7:00 PM in the Church, followed by a Social in the Parish Hall.The Feast of Our Mother of Perpetual Help is on Wednesday June 27, 2012.
The Preacher for our Novena is Fr. Eugene Tiongson – Batungbacal C.Ss.R., a Redemptorist Priest working in Houston, Tx. Plan to join us for this special opportunity of prayer, thanksgiving, and to bring our cares before Our Mother, who interceeds for us to her Son Jesus.
TOTUS TUUS
Summer Youth and Children Camp at St. Patrick’s Church!
Don’t wait until the deadline, as Registration will close when spots are full!!
The youth of our parish are invited to join Totus Tuus, a week-long summer camp dedicated to sharing the Gospel, supporting a deeper understanding of the Catholic faith and nurturing a young person’s personal relationship with Jesus. The camp offers two separate programs, both animated by a team of trained college-aged students.
- The Grade School Program (students entering Gr. 1-6) runs Monday August 6th – Friday August 10th from 9:00am – 2:30pm. The cost of the program is $20.00 and includes lunch and snacks. Childcare before camp ($5.00 for the week) and after camp ($15.00 for the week) is also available.
- The Jr. High/High School Program (students entering Gr. 7-12) runs Sunday August 5th – Thursday August 9th from 7:00pm – 9:00pm. The cost of the program is $10.00.
Additional information and Registration Packages are available at the back of the Church. Registration deadline is June 29th or while spaces are available. Spaces are limited! Other downtown parishes are also invited to register with St. Patrick’s, so take advantage of registering early to guarantee a spot!!! Registration forms and monies are to be submitted to St. Patrick’s parish office.

Interested in becoming Catholic
Wondering about becoming Catholic? Do you know someone who might be interested in joining the Church? There will be an open house Sunday June 3 following the 12:10 PM Mass with the Catechesis Team for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults and this year’s candidates who are completing the program. Come and learn about the Program, and to begin the discussion to see if this step in your faith journey is for you.
Pennies for Heaven
Are you looking at giving away your pennies? Give them to a worthy cause! We are accepting your pennies for two fundraising ventures. ASHA DEEP ORPHANGE and SCHOOL in INDIA, and the RENOVATION of the PARISH OFFICES. You may either deposit your loose pennies in the wall safes at the back of the Church, or if you have a lot to give, you may bring them to the PARISH OFFICE during weekday office hours, or to a priest after Mass. No worries about rolling them, we are ready to do that for you!
Not Alone
Our St. Patrick’s newly formed Support group for men and women who live with the realities of depression, anxiety and other related conditions, continues to meet twice monthly. Everyone is welcome – there is no registration or need to call in advance. Just pop in and join us.
Next meeting : May 28th at 5.30p.m. in the Parish Hall.
Justice & Service Group Meeting
The next meeting of the Justice and Service group will take place following the noon Mass on Sunday, June 10. This will be a very important meeting. We welcome Sr. Kathleen Kelly, the new Lay Pastoral Associate to the work of the Group, and we will explore new and ongoing initiatives, including pastoral visiting to the sick, outreach to new immigrants and refugees, Asha Deep, and many others. Please come – there is something interesting for everyone! All are invited.
Seniors Club Dinner Dance
